shoelaces were invented by Jesuits as a tool to help the inquisition. anybody who could tie them without help was identified as an atheist and burned.

I suspect that shoelaces are an argument against god.
If god exist, why do we have shoelaces?
They come untied, they wear out and break, they cut off the circulation in the foot, I find the flip flops, and loafers to be better proof of a devine entity (make mine Goddess please).

History
The shoestring (string and shoe holes) was first invented in England in 1790 (first recorded date March 27). Before shoestrings, shoes were commonly fastened with buckles.
Shoestrings were made to solve the problem of buckling shoes. Get an old pair of buckled shoes and see how long it takes for you to put them on. That's why PEOPLE INVENTED shoelaces.

you have shoe laces because someone thought to wear protection on their feet, which turned into shoes, which stayed on better with laces- which used to be made out of leather, which they could kill animals for. nowadays, the shoelaces are made out of plastic and thread and things like that which come from factories which people or machines make the laces and ship them to whatever store ordered then. you then go to the store and buy the shoelaces from them... that's how shoelaces exist, even tho god doesn't

Shoelaces are man- made. God does exist. If he were to make shoelaces I think they would last forever and probably be velcro.
