About a month ago I decided to start running again and started to watch what I eat. I have stuck with it so far and run everyday for over an hour and lift weights and do crunches. My clothes are much more loose and I feel and look better but I haven't lost a pound. Why not?

Okay, so you havent lost a pound - thats because you are loing fat and gaining muscle - muscle weighs more than fat, so its only natural not to lose actual weight.

Clothes are loose, you feel better, you look better - you are toning up, sliming down. If you feel good about yourself, thats all that really matters.

Congrads and keep up the good work.

If you increase your weights that you lift, you will gain weight with a good diet. Aim for 10 to 12 repetitions. The crunches are good and will add healthy weight. You need oxygen to shrink your fat content. You don't lose fat cells, you shrink them. This is better than losing weight. You are becoming more lean, more muscle and less fat.

because all that benching is making you gain muscle it happened to me too like right now since the lacrosse started i have to workout again so i gain muscle on my arms and legs but if you stop for a long time your muscles become weak so stay consistent if you decide to take things slower and its better to only work out 3 to 4 times a week for only a half an hour to an hour
