depends, if you aren't following a sensible diet then you won't lose any or you could gain! but average loss should be about 2 pounds a week if you are watching what you eat as well.

I go 5 days a week minimum 2hrs each day, cardio 3 days a week 30-40 minutes each day, 100 sit ups, 100 twist 3 days a week.
I use the weights 5 days a week working different muscles each day.
I am losing an average of 3-4 lbs a week.
I would say 2 would be reasonable. With the proper diet.

It depends on what you're doing the 3 times a week. It will also depend on your foods. If you're doing cardio you will need to do 20 minutes or more and more is better. This burns fat. You might have to work up to it if you're just beginning.
If you're weight training you will be burning calories and by getting the muscles stronger they will burn calories even at rest. If you do both this is the best.....Hope this helps....

Exercise is nice, but if you want to lose weight, calorie reduction is much more important.
