always always trust your instinct it'll never let you down, lots of factors can explain why maybe he does something contrary to what you think but always go with the initial gut instinct.

I feel the exact same way alot of times, but yeah, after a while you can really tell when someone likes you since you get so familiar with guys' body language. Yeah, I say trust your instincts cause you're probably right. Sometimes a guy will just go somewhere and see an attractive girl and ask for their number or just try to flirt, but if they don't get anywhere, yeah, they might forget about ya, unless they REALLY want to get to know you (those are called the persistant types)... and they will not leave you alone. Other guys will just hide it forever when in reality, they're obsessed with you and terrified to talk with you. I guess if they really like you, they'll keep showing up in their own little way.. or trying themmselves with you with little "hints" of attraction...

I wouldn't say 'trust' is a good way of putting it but yes, in a round about way, relying on your impulses will lead you towards spiritual 'growth' in so far as learning what actions you should not take in order enjoy a happy life. If you survive the consequences of your impulses and actions, that is. I am not sure what spiritual path you are following, but that concept feels as if it is nothing more than cheap attempt at justifying a life of instant gratification. That sort of life leads to emptiness.

Sometimes your instincts may be right, but sometimes it can also be misleading. Guys are oftentimes doubleminded about women. They get puzzled and confused about us as much as we do about them. Take time to get to know the person before you jump to conclusion, the last thing you want to do is misinterpret his signs.

most of the time, guys will think about that girl for awhile and will remember that person. and it never hurts to ask if that guy wants to go out if you.
