Um, how do we know these animals are actually homosexuals? Did they say they were? Or are we just supposing because we watched a limited behavior span and then judged on that?
Christians would tell you that this doesn't make homosexuality any less then a sin. Human beings have the ability to make complex choices - more so then animals. Whether or not people are born homosexual doesn't matter to Christians. They still believe it goes against God's will, God's plan for us. In some ways I can agree with that. I don't see it as natural in any way.
Doesn't mean I think homosexuals are sinners or dirty or should ever be hurt or discriminated against. But to try and claim that something which goes against the entire idea of creating life as natural seems far-fetched.
And I can't believe that this animal study could be used to support homosexuality. It's called a syndrome. A malfunction. A mutation. Is this really what homosexuals want to be?

One:
Studies also show that irregular growth of these parts of the brain are caused by the behavior, not the other way around, just as a muscle grows from continuous use. It's just that with the brain it is an addiction thing: pleasure promotes usage - usage promotes growth - growth requires more pleasure to satisfy - and the cycle continues. Call it pleasure obecity.
Two:
Do you really want to compare yourself with an animal? Don't you realize that it wasn't the animals that were created in God's image but only humans? You were created with the ability to reason. That was important because God created you for a relationship with Him and had to give us the ability to choose freely. A friend isn't a friend if he is forced to hang around is he?
Scripture says that He knew you before you were even in the womb and that He has a plan for you, a purpose and a place in a real realtionship. But He can't be part of our lives and bless us to the measure He wants unless we give our lives over to His perfect will.
Scripture specifically states in the Old Testament that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, mostly for that reason.
The New Testament even say that the end times will be evident by the normalizing of these types of sin.
Every homosexual can change their ways. They just have to exercise their choice. Once it becomes a habit it is harder to do. It is a lot like kicking the smoking habit. The urges wern't born into you. You developed them with your choices. Habits need to be undeveloped, maybe requiring a great deal of effort. God can supply that strength when you draw close to Him thru Jesus.
Don't think it is just homosexuality that God is upset with. Woe to those who lead others to stray into these things as well.

We all know right from wrong deep inside, and when we go against whats right then thats what a sin is. When we know its wrong and we do it anyway, a deliberate act against what is honest and just, falling to acknowledge or being ignorant to the fact of the definition does not relieve us from our sins. Now for the question. Unless we truly love somebody we should not enter into sex. If we truly do love someone, sex isn't whats most important, but a choice. so because you cant be gay unless you have sex with someone of the same sex, then being gay has to be a choice, and a bad choice at that.

Science has already proven the point.
Its a fact that the probablity of a person being BORN homosexual skyrockets along an uninterrrupted sequence of children being born of the same sex.
Ex: M1 - M2 - M3 - M4
M4 has a much higher chance of being homosexual than other humans born under non-sequential (male then female, etc) circumstances.

There are also alcoholic rats. How then can drinking be a sin? There are crows that steal. How then can theft be a sin? There are chimps that kill their own kind for no apparent reason. How can murder be a sin if animals do it too?
People do not have to blindly follow our impulses like animals do. We have something that animals do not. Humans have enough intelligence to understand the consequences of their actions, and to change their actions appropriately.
Just because you feel like doing something does not mean that you have to do it.

"Why do Chimpanzees Murder?"
by Kathryn Esplin-Oleski
September 16, 2006 07:18 AM EDT (Updated: September 17, 2006 01:23 AM EDT)
Research in recent years has focused on chimpanzees and other monkeys who murder their own. Field studies in Tanzania have demonstrated that chimpanzees will attack and kill other chimpanzees, and brutally so.
In one study (that took place over a five-year period), a group of male chimpanzees directed attacks on a splinter group of chimps that had broken away from the larger group.
Each member of this splinter group was beaten and subsequently died. Young male chimps initiated these attacks, usually using their hands, feet and teeth, though sometimes stones were thrown, as well.
A study of langur monkeys illustrates the same principle at work, that of intra-tribal warfare, instigated by outcast young males....

... these people have no idea what they are talking about.
When man consumed from the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE he came to know the difference between GOOD and EVIL.
It is in this knowledge that resides all sin. Things done outside of the blanket of that knowledge are innocent, even if they include murder, stealing, rape, etc. Creatures without KNOWLEDGE do not know that they are doing something that is against God and wrong, and thus it is not a sin.
Once you know something is wrong, you are sinning when you do it.
Animals cannot sin because they don't have the capacity to know any better, which was given to us by God (or the devil, depending on how you look at it).
Read Genesis. It's all you need for this one.

Yeah, there's animals that eat their own feces and rub in on each other but it doesn't make a point. Humans are held to a higher standard than animals, unless you believe in evolution. If a species was truly gay, they would cease to exist. Notice they don't have fertility clinics in the wild.
Also, the rule did not apply to animals. Only humans sin. I think you might need to do more research before you ask these juvenile questions with such arrogance.

So do you suggest that we should live as animals, slaves to our hormonal desires with no knowledge of a higher purpose?
Many species of shark are cannibals, do you suggest we should dine on each other? Since it happens in nature, it must be perfectly acceptable for us to do this.
Some animals are monogamous, but many more take a different mating partner each season and have no further contact with them. All for the sake of reproduction. Does this mean that human females should take a different lover every time she is fertile and produce children just for the sake of furthering the human race?
These actions would certainly be looked down upon by most people, regardless of faith -- just to prove that everything in the animal world is not acceptable for us. Why would God have made us different and unique if he intended us to behave like them?

There are no natural animals that actually penetrate a member of there own sex. It is a form of showing dominance for one male to mock mount another. So what you are trying to say is that homosexuality is a birth defect and should be cured. I agree that there are rare instances where it is a birth defect but among humans it is a choice in at least 70% of those who engage in it.

Praise God Friend,
God Bless you for seeking truth! Please remember although we have been categorized as mammals, in the eyes of our Lord we are not animals. We were created in the image and likeness of God. So we are not placed to the same standards as animals. There is no judgment for animals because they just live and do the things there supposed to (ie, birds fly, dogs bark). But we as human beings have been called to a higher calling which in Christ Jesus. Please don't look at the Bible as just a rule book that says don't do this and don't do that. God's Word is more of a love letter than a rule book. I thank God for your desire for truth. God Bless You Friend! May your search for truth be blessed.
