I think you don't like organized religion. I'm right there with you! I can't stand to sit and listen to how I should be in one sentence and listen to how much the place needs a new roof or how there are people in a other country that really need our help when there are people in my own community that no one in the room would spit on if they were dying of thirst. "Dig deep, people. Give us 10% and you will have a place in Heaven...." Give me a break. Oh, you've got me started, now.

There is hope. Just believe and live right. And don't let anyone make you feel bad for not believing in the organization.

(DISCLAIMERS AND OPERATIONAL DEFINITIONS: When I say religion, I'm referring to that which involves simply the prescribed order of ceremonies; holy here means set apart [from sin] - it is a perfection of a moral attribute whereby one abhors that which is evil and demands purity) Jesus is not all about religion. It may involve rites, but it's so much more than that. The heart of it is your relationship (or perhaps the alarming lack thereof) with Him. The Bible says in Romans 3: 23 that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of GOD," and being a holy GOD and humans being sinful as they are, we were cut off from him (no thriving relationship). So why am I rambling on like this? Well, Jesus came into the world to reconcile sinners with GOD, to save sinners from eternal damnation, and essentially, so that sinners may know the love of GOD (Romans 9:11-13). He did that by dying on the cross in our place, and in effect, he was served the punishment that a just GOD required. My point here is that Jesus is not just about religion, so there IS hope for you. There will always be hope for you as long you're still alive.

I hope I answered your question. Feel free to email me if you want to know more. :)

yes, if you read Jesus' word you would see He didn't like religion either. He was not well accepted by the religious leaders of the day & they had Him killed because He didn't fit their perception of what God should be. Don't get stuck on any denomination that says are way is the only way. (like the Pharisee) instead try to find a wise Bible teaching church.
a church group can help you realize truths you may not be able to "get" on your own. Diffrent bckgrounds, diffrent ways of thinking that you may never have thought of...
remember the letters in red are the most important.
God be with you

Organized religion it sucks and it looks so dumb and
stupid to see them flapping their arms in the air
and jumping up and down and screaming
at the top of their lungs like a bird brain idiot

And they just act so religious and goody goody
do you really think our Lord God cares about
organized religion I think not

Look in the bible Jesus did not like religious people
Jesus turned the tables over on the money changers
and Jesus said my house the church is a den of thieves
and people who lie and are corrupt

i think people get to caught up in religion and forget why they're actually going to church. as long as you except that he gave his life for you and is your Lord and personal savior i think you'll be alright. also, just strive to be more Christ like and not live for the world.
