DNA copying is not perfect, so progeny don't have exactly the same genome as their parents. the genes can affect the outward form of the organism so there will be variation in a population (for instance some will be taller than others or have better eyesight, etc). some variants will be better at survival and reproduction than others in the environment the organism finds itself in, so over many generations they will increase in the population, until the population as a whole consists of individuals that are wholly unlike those at earlier times. so there can be many reasons for change. perhaps the environment is changing, or the organisms are migrating from one environment to another (which is effectively the same thing, from a gene's point of view). change doesn't have to be adaptive, either. re: global warming, the fossil record indicates that most species that ever existed are now extinct, and left no descendant species. most of these extinctions are probably due to rapid changes that couldn't be adapted to - meteor strikes being the obvious example. global warming might also be such an event (although probably not on the scale of previous catastrophes, the difference is that we can do something about it).

I luv u. These are all great arguments against "Intelligent Design" theorists who only like to point out the good things and not stuff like that. One could argue that Unintelligent Design could prove that, but then you would have to admit that the creator wasn't too smart.(maybe even taking drugs while designing the universe :-)

Whoa... excellently well said... I know the answers to all of those but since you addressed it to those that don't believe in evolution, I'll leave it there.
Very thoughtful and intelligent, btw.

Lots of questions - only one answer: Because thats how God planned it. Look at the DNA - the inactive parts are the same in protozoa as they are in complex animals - how could that be if they are "unevolved?"
I would suggest to you that they are there and inactive because God hasn't activated them yet.
Its time to put the anger aside and get right with God.

Ahh...'cause it does :)
Thoughtful question, but I don't think you'll get many takers from the 'fundies'. Nice thought though.

Good questions.
And there isn't a single creationist that can answer them. Well, not rationally anyway

god is very creative, my dear. He made people and animals with all kinds of interesting things. look at the diversity of just the flowers in the world. God is awesome!!
and, please don't forget , the bible teaches and life confirms that we are in a very fallen world. The entrance of sin into the world brought about death, disease, deformities, etc.
god bless

I'm sorry to say this, but the little "~" in your question are really annoying, even though you have good arguments.
