"Truth is stranger than fiction."

This is creation and evolution, although creation is the truth to most it seems stranger than fiction(evolution).

What do you think?

i mean, he just came out of the heavens and poked his finger and made humans? And Eve was made of Adam's rib?

See it does seem stranger than the fiction of evolution no doubt!

And where does it say He used His finger? He spoke everything into existance?

evolution doesnt teach us that talking snakes existed.

But it does teach you that amino acids came together and formed life, and we are all basically talking animals? Is that not correct? We are technically animals according to evolution

I support evolution... it seems more like truth to me, and the fiction is in creation. I mean, he just came out of the heavens and poked his finger and made humans? And Eve was made of Adam's rib? That's a little kooky to me compared to science which at least has some proof, as opposed to a couple of books written by people on mountains.

The truth is that for all we can determine, there are things we will never quite know.
Accepting this fact is the strangest of all Truths.
Mystery abounds...
and I doubt the Big Bang happened either.
There may actually be an infinity, and there actually may never have been a beginning. This hypothesis was postualted so many years ago, at least ten b/c I am thirty now and I was in college at the time.
Anyway,
accepting the Mystery of the Universe is the ONE thing tha will never be taught in schools, b/c the point of school, the point of being human,
apparently
is to KNOW EVERYTHING.

while I agree that sometimes truth is stranger than fiction, you're theory involving the bible is flawed.First: The Book of Genesis(the one you are reffering to) is believed to be written by Moses and wasn't supposed to be taken literally. It was only supposed to show how powerful God was, not make you think he created everything in 7 days. Second: the bible was written by humans inspired by god, it was not written BY god so there could be other mistakes in the literal texts as well.

Ok, think about this- what if god created life that he knew would one day evolove into humans. If he is all knowing and all powerful this should not be difficult only difficult for some of us to grasp. Then you can think about this -we know that we are not the beginng of gods evoluitonary chain so maybe we are not the end result of it only the middle.I always thought the argument between creaitonists and evolutionarys was stuipd becuase when you think about it there are both right and both wrong.Think about it.

I think you have that backwards. Only in the inbreeding bible belt places is Creationism "truth to most". The rest of the world accepts evolution for the fact that it is.

Creation is NOT the truth.

It is some of the strangest fiction out there.
