I am not a material woman. I don't expect men to get me jewelry,or clothes,or chocolates. Or flowers, because they just die within a week, and I always feel bad for the guy when he has to spend money on that, they are pretty expensive. I'm not saying I wouldn't appreciate any of these, I love any gift from anyone. What I'm saying is that I don't expect gifts to feel loved. I enjoy experiences with someone. It's the dates that mean the most to me. My most memorable date with my husband was one day we walked the trails at a lake near our city. It was so quiet, and it was just us, and then it started to rain, and we got drenched, and we were just laughing. We ended up just sitting under a tree watching the rain, and talking. This was before we were even dating. We were just friends. But it seemed like that event led to us falling for each other. I appreciate gifts, but what I always remember the most are the experiences. Set up a really nice date for her. Make it involve something fun, and then let it wind down into a quiet evening. Go with what both of your interests are. A well thought of, meaningful date will mean alot to a woman. If you do decide to get her a gift, don't go for how much something costs, look at how much it would actually mean to her. Know her interests, and be creative in getting her something that involves something she is interested in. It makes anyone feel good when the gift is creative, because it shows that this gift isn't something you would have just gotten for any girl. By creative, I don't mean elaborate, but something you put thought into. If she is a good woman, she will appreciate anything you took the time to get for her. But remember, its usually a stereotype when society portrays women as loving jewelry, chocolates, flowers, etc. That's all been done before, and they have lost their meaning. These have become things you get for a woman when you have no clue what to buy for her. Find out her interests, and get her something, or make her something that will be a total surprise to her. But overall, if it meant something to you when you gave it to her, that's all that matters, and that's what will mean the most to her. Women aren't as materialistic as most men think! Don't worry.

If you know her favorite author, buy her his/her new book as soon as it comes out.
If you know she likes to cook, plant her an herb garden - and you take care of it.
If you know she likes a certain actor, offer to take her to his movie as soon as it comes out.
Get to know her. Find out what she likes. Think about it.
If, for instance, a woman was deathly afraid of air travel and did not like the French, a trip to Paris would be a stupid choice. If anther woman loved to fly and had read every French cookbook that was ever printed, a two-week vacation in France, one of them at a cooking school, would be heaven.

Women love anything that there men take the time to pick out. Think of her likes and hobbies and pick something you think will suit her.

something special that relates to the both of you. Maybe a photo with things you have done together written around it. MAybe a basket of lots of little things that mean a lot to her and you Photos, movie tickets, perfume

one with meaning. chocolate and a foot massage or a fun picnic on the beach with wine. a poem written by you. anything thoughtful not just jewelry and flowers (if has no true meaning).

i will suggest you buy perfume or flowers. Women can be sometimes funny and she might want your time to spend with her too.
