Now, even if God had been the author of the Bible, even if there had been a Jesus, how could the Bible have been written so as to correspond to the human society forever and ever? There are some commandments that clearly cannot apply anymore - especially because all domains of the science have evolved, and society has changed accordingly. But how many commandments could hold for thousands and thousands of years?

At the time they have appeared, the commandments (not just the ten) and descriptions and so on could not have been written differently without stupefying everybody - and perhaps even harm people (think about no moral restrictions on sex life in a world without condoms, or on asserting some shocking scientific fact, 2000 years ago).

So God had to write it the way he has, but then what plan could he have had for the XIX century AD? Let some of his teachings drown in incoherence with the scientific facts?

News flash the bible was not written by a God it was written by men! It is based not on our culture today but on the sociology of the culture that wrote it!

In short the bible is man made BS!
