Major food stores (chains) will be selling St Paddy's day trays filled with all kinds of snack foods. Or you can special order one to your specifications. Happy St Patrick's day.

Some background before I go on. I'm Australian of Irish decent. My Kids have celtic names, riley and tegan. My birthday is 19 march, close but not quite.
Food gets in the way of the drinking. We go for damper and dips. Damper is a bread made in a camp oven.
Best dips to go with it are
beetroot
golden syrup - like treakle but more refined
mustard butter
Also get potatoes, cut across both ways, stick in a piece of butter with cracked pepper, Wrap in foil day before. take to party and they can cook there. Easy
Can make damper day before.

This monday on St Patricks day, my coworkers and that i are going to bypass to the bar and drink Baileys and Bushmills all evening. Guiness for the beer, yet I choose the liquor on MY IRISH holiday!!!!!!!! i'm gonna get smashed and sing ingesting songs. and then bypass to paintings the next day, LOL
