awww, don't get rid of him, maybe just tie cloth around your mirrors, or put paper bags on them when you're not driving, it may sound stupid, but after a few weeks of not seeing himself he will probobly forget and do other things (most birds have a very short attention span) PLEASE don't hurt him, i think it's very cruel. How could you end an innocent life just so that you do't have to take care of a small inconveinience!

Try putting a different mirror close to the where you park. Birds are in season this time of year and the bird might think that its reflection is a mate or something. Just don't kill the bird! He just likes his reflection. You could cover your mirror with something like a towel so the bird can't see itself! Hopefully the bird will loose interest and go away.

Put something over the mirror - towel, newspaper, etc. - while parked, for about a week. The bird should forget all about "the other bird" by then. Other things that scare birds away are toy snakes, curling ribbon or such things that blow in the breeze (attach to car or stick near car). Good luck.

nicely, birds are between the simplest pets to look after! The least time you will desire to enable it out of its cage is 20 minutes. Feeding is often fairly low-priced nonetheless a solid high quality cage will in all probability be slightly expensive while you're finding for a solid sized one. purchase purely some toys from the et keep given which you may make your very own toys, its greater low fee that way. They do stay as much as around 10-15 in accordance to my breeder. inspite of the undeniable fact that it would be a impressive 10-15 yrs with provided TLC. Cockatiels are fairly affectionate (nicely, mine became into besides) and that they are finished of personaility. They like to whistle! So except you pick a lifeless quiet poultry, you will desire to think of roughly that. in spite of the reality that some are quieter than others. the backside of the cages newspaper would desire to get replaced each and every 2 weeks. basic, a cockatiel would desire to be no situation. You sound like your as much as the dedication. good success and have many wonderul years consisting of your poultry!

I know the feeling of wanting to wring a bird's neck, but thinking of the Federal fines usually nips that thought in the bud.
Put a towel over the mirror and rubber band it down. He'll move to someone else's mirror.

Slide a drawstring bag or pouch over the mirror so the bird cannot see in the mirror...and it will be easy to remove each time you go out to leave. (or a towel banded on) Depending on the size of the mirror (truck size) you could use a pillow case & those tie down cords, that are stretchy w/metal-rubber coated hooks on each end.

Park your car in a garage or a spot where the robin cannot get to the car and leave it there for a few days until the robin goes away

You'd kill a bird cause it crapped on your mirror? Be careful, karma is a b****, wouldn't want to have a bird sucked up your intake.
