The sooner your vet attends to your dog, the better. The reason why you were advised not to give any water as well as no food was, probably, just incase your vet needs to do any tests or X-rays which would require an anaesthetic.

Must admit, over the years, I've experienced similar things with one or other of my pets. It could be a reaction to something your dog has eaten or she could even have a blockage somewhere in her digestive tract. Anyway, no use guessing as I'm not a vet. Leave it to the experts and get your dog there ASAP. Hope she recovers and all is well.

There is hope. It's really silly and time wasting that your vet gave your dog antibiotics without any blood work. Yellowing of dogs extremities is called jaundice and can be caused by a number of factors. Your vet needs to do a full blood count and serum chemistry to check for anemia, liver function and biliruben levels. This can rule out some causes. But an x-ray or ultrasound would need to be done to see if the jaundice is caused by gaulstones (which would be a multi-thousand dollar surgery to remove) or a tumor. Antibiotics may help your dog, but it won't if the underlying cause is stones or tumors. Good luck. And if you decide to go forward with treatment, it might be pretty expensive. I hope the antibiotics work and your dog turns out just fine.

I would call a vet on this one, get it checked out before it becomes serious and costs a lot!
