Atheists do not believe in god....any god. They also do not believe in the supernatural. They subscribe to science and what can be proven only. They however are kind, moral and usually highly intelligent people.

An Atheist is someone who doesn't believe in the existence of any deities (gods) whatsoever, and doesn't adhere to any religion . Atheists mainly accept two scientific theories to explain why are we here:
-The big bang: A great explosion that caused the universe to come to being.
-Evolution: That all living creatures, including humans, began as simple life forms (Bacteria) and through millions (And even billions) of years evolved into more complicated forms of life: Animals, plants, fungi..etc.

In spite of what some deluded believers think, an atheist is someone with no supernatural beliefs. It is not a religion, it is indifference to religion. It can be characterized as a belief system, but one based on provable facts and scientific knowledge.
And you're question isn't dumb; you don't learn anything unless you ask. Religion might dislike questions, but we welcome them.

This question does not need much information for an explanation.
Simply put, an atheist is a person who does not follow a religion.
They are neither good nor bad, they just don't have faith in any god.

It's the same as an atheist, but with an extra letter.
Atheism is the lack of belief in any gods. There's pretty much nothing else to know.

Atheist a person that has studied different texts on religions and has found that there is not sufficient proof to justify the belief in any god or gods as far as they are concerned.

My view, I don't believe in any gods or other such beings, I don't think that type of thing is real. That's about all there is to it.

Atheists are people who have no belief in gods. Period. Whatever other viewpoints they have are personal to them, and not something that all atheists share.
