I need a receipt?
I helped my friend to move from Las Vegas to California - I've driven his car to San Francisco. But for to pay me , he said that he wants to have a receipt from a moving company, so he can get his money back later from his boss. If you guys have any ideas how and where I can get one please let me know

He's looking for you to assist him in a fraud. Forget it! If he needed a receipt, he should have told you at the outset, and used a reputable moving company.

If his company finds out that you were involved in a fraud, they could turn around and sue you for aiding and abetting. Don't get involved!

Tell him to pay you, or forget the friendship!

You can buy receipt books at any stationery store. There are general receipts, rent receipts and other types as well. Since you don't need anything other than a receipt for his moving expenses, I'm sure his boss will accept a plain every-day receipt. You can type your name as a moving company, since there's no way the boss is going to check by phoning the company anyway. Just don't make the amount too outrageous as his boss may get a tad upset about an excessive amount...

Tell your 'friend' you are not a moving company, you don't give receipts, and you expect him to follow through with his promise. If he doesn't, you haven't lost much.

Well, considering if you or your friend "created" one to give to his boss....he could be fired for fraud. You're outta luck unless a moving company actually moved his possessions.
