I feel that television is no more "the devil" than any other form of media. It all depends on how it's used. T.V. can be a medium for inspiration, education, and healing, or demotivation, ignorance, and harm. If their is something harmful on T.V., and we choose to watch it, then is "the devil" on T.V., or in us, influencing us more close to home, perhaps. We're the ones that make the decision to watch or not. Same thing goes for books, movies, the internet, and music.

I thought Football was the devil to Mama! TV and Computers can be used by the devil, God uses them for His glory as well!

well I think its kinda like this there r good things on tv and there r bad thinks on tv what u choose is up to u, but I dont think its THE DEVIL! I do think that anything u put befor the lord is wrong like if you were watching tv instead of going to church or reading your bible then yeah it could a bad thing. I asked a preacher man one time the same quistion and i told him there were good things on t.v. too watch. he said there r good things in a garbage can too but do you want to dig through all the bad rotton stuff to get to it ?does that answer your quistion?

It depends. It can be used for good, but also for bad. It's good for most programs that are on channels like discovery, disney, animal planet, other educational channels. But it's bad because of all the crude humor, sex, and violence. That being said, I do watch the news. I think it's good to know what is going on in our world, but I don't agree with a lot of the programs. Since I have kids, I feel it's important to limit what they watch and not show them things that they don't need to see at their ages.

TV is not the devil. It's a machine invented by man.
The producers of some commercials, movies and shows however, are certainly motivated by the devil.

No. TV is a tool. It can be a tool for good or evil.
We can certainly be influenced by the TV. Mostly for evil but that is because there is just so much bad stuff on there.
Try the religious stations for a change. Some good stuff on there.

Perhaps not the Devil, but it can become a false god easily enough, and as society programs it, it is a very bad influence on people. We would be smart to regulate it more.

Notice I said "bad" some programs are good

LOL, Umm, NO, I do not. I think there are a lot of ungodly stuff on the airwaves, but I'm a big girl, and can turn it OFF if I don't want to watch it!!
