Me and my boyfriend are very close when it comes to everything. We hold hands and he rubs my leg alot during classes. All the teachers but one don't care. Whenever it seems like he starts to hold my hand, that teacher comes over so I let go because we have gotten in school detention for it before. We are really close and talk every night. Well, today he wasn't in school and when he's not in school he always writes me an email or leaves a message on my cell phone. I got home to see that neither my phone or email had messages. I am so worried that something is wrong. How worried:
I jog a mile every day. Today I jogged and I jogged an extra 4 miles because I was too busy caught up in my thoughts.
Well anyways, do you think somethings wrong or is it just me being too over-protective and selfish?

I dont think your being over protective or selfish because if you are very close to each other, you care about them not on a superficial level. Its really cute that you are worried cause it shows how much you care about your boyfriend.

Your not being selfish, but you might be being a little over-protective. Don't get so worked up & worried about it. Why not just call or email him. Then give him some time to reply back to you. The time you should start to get upset is if he don't respond at all. He might be back in school tomorrow then you can find out how he doing & what happen today. Be a little patient with him.

I kind of got this way at the start of my relationship too...I'm very close with my boyfriend, and we're very affectionate etc too...and I frrreaked out the first time I hadn't heard from him! But...it turns out he was sleeping all day. Try to be calm, call and leave him a message, and then tomorrow if you've heard nothing, ask his friends what's up or something. It'll be ok!

well, I'm sure he has a good explanation y he didn't call u. But i don't think u really need to know where he is every second of the day. When my boyfriend left for flordia for a week he told me he would call me. And he never did. He came home 2 days late and i was getting kinda worried, but he said he had no service in flordia and he was really sry. I'm sure ur boyfriend feels bad 2 for not letting u know where he is.

He rubs your leg because it sexually excites him. How old are you? You need to let this boy have a life, and you need to find things to do, too. You have become paranoid. You should be mature enough when you are in a relationship to know the time and place for displays of affection. The school classroom is definitely an immature place for it.

Miss Bethany? I'd suggest that you stick to your God-Given abilites to become an Athelite? ans let the dating thing, wait until you're alittle older. I think, your Frind is busy being who he wants. ans you may be wanting too mcuh of his attention. That's not wrong? Just not how he's wanting it to be. Give him some space. If he cares enough about you? He'll be back. But I do think you shouldn't put too much into being around him or hearing from him, every minute.

I think you're being paraniod. I used to feel that way before except my boyfriend always come to school and we always together but when he move to a different school I was so sad and lonely like i got nobody else because we're like bestfriends. Later on i realize that absences makes us closer and realize how much we love eachother. You should spend time away from eachother sometimes even if its just lunch time or something it`ll make you realize how much your boyfriend means to and same to him.

hey whats going on i didnt see u today is everything alright?
i mean he may not think ur expecting anything n i understand what u mean but he might think its a little selfish if u ask like why didnt u call? or soemthing like that so u should call i mean something bad could've happened or hes just sick
it just sounds like ur worried -- totally understandable but dont sound really overprotective when u talk to him--thats kinda a turn off
just be casual and see whats up

Every person, male or female, has what we call "me time". That's time dedicated to yourself, when you just want to be alone. Just because he's talked to you everyday and hasn't today doesn't mean something horrible has happened. Maybe, but not exactly. Don't worry, and don't expect him to be around you and talking to you 24/7.
