My bo has a gambling problem and low income. I am on SSI and am finding myself increasingly payng bills for him. I love him but I am feeling irritated because he has never helped me with my bills. I gave him $600 check last month(feb 1st) + payed all the utilities and didn't even get flowers on my birthday (feb 5th). I can't decide if I am being kind or stupid. I cannot pay down my credit or see the dentist. If I try to talk to him he just gets mad and tells me to go back to my ex husband. Help!!!

dont know why you need my advice you answered your own question.
you cant pay your credit or go to the dentist. why in the world would you do for others and cant do for yourself. this man is not stupid why should he work when there is a ATM at home.
never jepordize your health or credit because someone is to lazy to look for work. i bet when its your turn to become the couch potato he would leave you in a heartbeat.

Girl Stop! Are You kidding Me? Here take this back bone.Kick him to the curb. Move on ,and enjoy your nice peaceful quite life without the begging loser.Tell him to get a life and shove it.Sorry but that does not make sinse for someone who is poor, suporting someone that can do for them^&$*&^%$* selves. well, I think "stupid" is too harsh or a word but your lacking in the self esteem department. Drop this guy like a lead sinker-for real.
cut your losses and go buy yourself something nice. a pedicure, manicure, new hairstyle, a new pair of shoes always works for me.

You need to kick the mooch out because he is using you. He forgot your b-day and shows that he does not care about you. He has a problem and pretty soon you will get sucked in with him adnd can't get out. Leave him.

once a gambler will always be a gambler, so love yourself and save yourself from this drama... It seems like he's not taking care of you like he should, so please, please, just leave... Don't go back to your ex-husband because he's gonna feel like he's right and you are wrong... So be independent and be on your own if you can then you'll find a good guy.. Just leave this guy before you get yourself into more trouble...

if you can pay for the rent and everything else, there is no use for you to be staying there 'supporting' your bro.... i know thos e kind of people... they kind that makes you feel guilty if you dont 'help' out.... just leave right now... its clear that he has a gambling problem.... just leave....

leave him and do it fast! he is just using you. if he wont even bother to lie to you and say that he is going to do better than he is a jerk. you are only going to get into debt with this guy.
