I am 14 and have never had a boyfriend before. I think that is because I am very shy and quiet. I live in a small town also. I am just wondering if I will become more outgoing once I get into High School so when I do get a boyfriend I can act myself around him. I am just scared that I will never become outgoing and I wont get a boyfriend or a husband. But whenever I am around my friends I am NOT shy or quiet.

Most of the time, sence there are more guys and people in highschool, you will be more outgoing. Guys will talk to you more and you will start to like them more. It really kicks in, in college. I understand you being shy. It's crazy, it like runs in my family. You will do great. I hope you get a boyfriend and I hope that your 9th grade yr goes well!

well i have the same problem, im shy and quiet and i like a guy i can't even talk to him cuz im so nervous. im sure once you'll get to high school there will be plenty of guys that you might be interested in dating. you will be come outgoing, don't fear that, you should think positeve and maybe one day you will get a boyfriend that will land up to be your husband. when were with our friends, we are less nervous and probably feel more comfortable around them, but once you get to know a guy im sure you'll be fine

you probly will not become out going in highschool, because its the same people you have lived around your whole life, if your not outgoing with them by now you will not be in high school. you will become outgoing when you leave that small town.

SWEETIE, FIRST OF ALL THERE ARE ALOT OF BOYS THAT LIKE SHY GIRLS. WHEN YOU GO TO HIGH SCHOOL YOU WILL SEE THAT I'M RIGHT. DON'T TRY AND CHANGE WHO YOU ARE. YOU SOUND LIKE A VERY SPECIAL YOUNG LADY. why are you so stressed about your future love life at 14?
chill out , love and all those things will come to you in time.
as far as becoming outgoing with a guy....... the more your around him the more open you will be..... its best to be best friends with a guy first, just be your self..... and everything will fall into place

just going to high school isn't going to make you more outgoing
you have to push yourself to be outgoing
join clubs, do sports, etc.
talk to people!!!!!!
you have to gather up your courage and talk to more people, that will help you get friends and possibly a boyfriend

girls get strong sence like they have to be in realtionships..its natural ..but it gets stronger as u grow.. then eventually will fade away.. i didnt get my 1st bf until i was 16 and some people dont get their 1st until their 20 or 22.. just just be yourself and have fun,enjoy ur young youth!
p.s. beware as guys grow their hormones go wild and they only wnat 1 thing form ya..so save it as u have it

you was shy and quiet around your friends when you first met them, right? your trying to IMPRESS people you havent got close to yet. you realise you dont have to IMPRESS your friends. Get what I'm saying? Once you get close to people, you'll open up to them. God bless you.

Your young give it time. Just join clubs and be at places to meet others your age and things will work out and soon you will be saying I wish I had fewer guys hitting on me.
