i just made red beans (slow cooked all day !) and buttered white rice. we're waiting on the spicy cheese corn bread to come out of the oven...are you jealous!?!? if not, how come!? whatcha making for dinner?

you all are great sports! and yes i was jealous of a few of you! lol as for spicy corn bread recipe,here's a simple version: put shredded AMERICAN cheese (not cheddar) and 4tbls of picante sauce with corn bread mix. follow directions on corn bread mix package and add the picante and american cheese.bake according to directions. it's yummm kids and i are stuffed now!

Yawn, no because I know for sure I can make the best red beans and rice on the planet. Yum, to the spicy cheese cornbread.
Tonight I am making shrimp curry and rice for me and hubby. The dog is having boiled chicken thighs on rice (he only likes steamed shrimp).

No, I'm content with mine- Pork Chops, White Rice, Spicy Crabcakes, and Creamed Spinach. For dessert, an excellent Filipino dessert called halo halo- My dad made a mixture of two different ice creams with various tropical fruits.
Yours sounds extremely yummy too though- I love corn bread.

I'm not jealous my wife made new york strip on the grill baked potato's corn on the cob and baked beans and i didn't even have to cook now your jealous
