What would be the best way to ask a girl out, thats not to gushy and no to stupid. Should I just ask her in person, a note, etc?

In person a note is dumb just do it in person but in a way shell like it.

If you found a good person that you feel you want to ask out ask her in person is the best route to go. A good woman would rather be asked in person not by some note. If you are that shy try talking to her through e-mail to get to know her better than when that time is right it will occur.

anything's fine...just not a note, online , over the phone etc...
do it in a cute way and show her you really care but not gushy. If you can drive and you sorta know her then take her to a resturaunt she likes...if you can't drive or you don't know her that well then you should get her a huge stuffed animal or roses or a box of chocolates...anything is fine just remember to ask her in person.

In person, but don't be to gushy maybe a little but not a lot! Don't presure her to answer right away tell her to take her time if she needs it, but only if there's an awkward silence.

well i think maybe asking her in person would be better. like say one day your having a really good conversation and, if you make her laugh. try just asking her if she wants to see a movie with you or something. i wouldnt say "do you want to go out" because she'll be probably nervously excited and not know what to say. you could also try the note passing thing, she'll probably be more comfortable w/ that. good luck

You should just go up to the girl that you like and ask her if she will go out with you. I like this guy very much but he is in a relationship with someone else and I want him to ask me out on a date.

well since im a girl i would want a boy to ask me in person. i mean bc a note is tooooooooo childish. and u can't do it through other ppl. or over the computer. just kinda like walk up to her and be like hum............ (watever her name is) do u wanna go out with me? and then she will only have to say yes or no. so just go for it.

my b/f had the best way to ask me out... we spent new years together and went to down town Lancaster. every year they have shows and activities all night long, so we painted mugs and listened at a band play in the rain, then we went to my house and watch the ball drop while laying on the cough. as i was starting to fall asleep he asked me to be his girlfriend. it was the perfect day with the best ending.

Walk up to her, look her in the eye (very important), don't slouch, hold your head and shoulders up, you want to appear relaxed but not as if you don't care what her answer might be, you want to appear confident but not cocky. Then open your mouth up and ask her! Passing her a note makes you look insecure.

yes..most girls would want the guy to ask her out because their probably a little more scared to ask you out.
And the best way to do it is in person becuase it shows the confident and that you are willing to do it.
