I have a few people that seem to be obsessed with my every word. Why do people get that way and what should I do ?

Perhaps they are obsessed in just one thing first.
It's okay, especially if you feel the same about him or her, how can you go wrong:)

Some people just try to prevent others from getting hurt by you. You've hurt too many people with a bunch of lies, it's as simple as that.
Some human beings, like the few you are referring to in this silly question, just love other human beings too damn much to let them get hurt by an individual as yourself.
To answer the question: what should you do? Just apologize. Not to me, because I frankly don't give a damn. But to some others it might be a good start. I'm sure you know who.

For them it's worth not knowing who they are.It's a dire need to be like someone else,it's to fill a void,it's usually something they are not getting that comes natural to you.Yes it can be annoying but you could use it to your advantage.I mean if they are listening and hanging on to your every word,well then give them words,words that would promote someone to be their own person, a independent person with their own views and beliefs not someone else, {yours.} If your lucky you will make one of these persons that you refer to, a strong minded person,someone who became their own because of you,{your words}.Spread the word,not the disease.
