Is it another alternative to evolution through natural selection?

It's like the telphone game. You start out with the theory of evolution, it goes through a bunch of christians and you end up with man from apes. No sense actually reading the theory in its entirety (or heck, even in part!)....just go by what you thought you heard.

If man from apes, as the alternative to evolution through natural selection claims, why are there still apes?

Actually, it is something of a corruption of evolution. They like to suppose that the argument is that mankind descended from apes, rather than that both descended from an apelike progenitor. (Why this should matter, I have no idea.) Creationists like to set up straw men such as this in their continued absurd efforts to deride evolution, which is now a proven fact.

LOL...what glitterkitty said.

Except it's deliberate. People know better than "man from apes;" they just take a perverse pleasure in their own blockheadedness. Same with Young Earth and Intelligent Design and all their other cute little ideas. I have too much faith in humanity to think that all these people are really this stupid.

Well, OK, some of them are. ;)

it shows their ignorance of natural selection. In teh same way they dont understand while evolution like gravity is a therory, natural selection is a fact

I think the thing is that evolutionists have proven their theory so far beyond any doubts that creationists had to accept it and "re-arrange" their theory, it is just my opinion though

Apparently modern apes just gave birth to a human one day.

It's called learning your science from the pulpit.
It's about the only way most of these christians learn anything.
