scratcher I'm not. beginner yes, my father is a tattoo artist who owns his own shop and hes been teaching me for a few weeks now. i have not inked anyone yet and have no plans of doing so for a while. I do not have the best relationship with my father and it is not easy to ask him all the questions i have. I have already researched the question i asked and now have a better understanding no thanks to a few of you. I understand many of you maybe artists and are loyal to the trade and thats great but you only add to the problem if you act like asses. I was not asking for the holly grail just a simple answer. People come here for help!! I think maybe you should come down form your high houses and help or just not reply.

I think your shop mentor will be able to help you better than us.

Edit: I gave you the best answer I have. Seems to me that the person teaching you would be the best place to go for help. If he won't help you go somewhere else. Some advice is best taken from a person you can actually talk too. Miss Communications may lead to bad tats. Sorry you took it wrong.

If you are an apprentice and have a mentor, you need to get this information from him/her. If not...we don't teach scratchers how to tattoo here, sorry.
