What calls do I need.

I recommend you start with a quality box call. Then move up to a slate call. Mouth calls are not for everybody but after you have mastered the other two you can go ahead and try it.

Don't use a gobble call. They will get you shot.

A mouth call is the best but takes practice. A box or slate call is easy to use and great for beginners also you might want a few decoys to help you.

would depend on what season your hunting them in, spring or fall. for spring you should have a gobble call, that will help you locate them, then to lure them you need a hen call, i prefer the diaphragm mouthpiece because it is motionless. now for fall i don't see any use for a gobble, because they don't communicate a whole lot out of breeding season, so just a hen call would work in fall.
