This is true

John 3
1There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.

3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

4Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

To understand what it means to be “born again” one must know who are “born again.” Note carefully that, in discussing this matter, Jesus did not say that all who would gain everlasting life must be “born again.” Rather, what he said was that unless one was “born again” he could not see the “kingdom of God.” Now the kingdom of God is heavenly. Jehovah has purposed that the Kingdom be the capital or ruling part of his universal organization. Jehovah also purposed that a limited number, taken from among mankind, would reign with Christ Jesus as associate kings. For this sublime privilege they must be resurrected and given spirit bodies, since, as the apostle said, “flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom.” That the Father has set a limitation on the number of those who will reign with his Son in the heavenly kingdom is manifest from Jesus’ words: “Have no fear, little flock, because your Father has approved of giving you the kingdom.” The exact number of the “little flock” approved by the Father to be Kingdom heirs was not known until Christ, through an angel, revealed it to be 144,000 “who have been purchased from the earth.” This “little flock” of 144,000 Kingdom heirs, then, are those ones from among mankind who are “born again.”—1 Cor. 15:50; Luke 12:32; Rev. 14:1-3, NW.

Doing good works will not help anyone make it to heaven. It's doing what God requires according to Gods commandment is what helps men make it to the kingdom of heaven. Everythingelse does not matter anymore. God has a plan for all people, to prosper the people and not to harm us people to give us hope that all with the Glorious name of Jesus Christ that all will be well. Yes and it is true that if one is born again, they can see the kingdonm of heaven because to be born again literally means to change ones old ways and become a new person in flesh as God want us to be and to be renewed in spirit. Meaning changing ones old ways and becoming a whole new individual in the presence of the Lord who above all sees all.

God bless you my brother I hope that I answered all your questions.

Sincerely,
Precious

“Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John iii. 3). Jesus tells Nicodemus, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.”

This allusion, so unintelligible in itself, is explained in the Satapa-Brâhmana. It teaches that a man striving after spiritual perfection must have three births: 1st. Physical from his mortal parents; 2d. Spiritual, through religious sacrifice (initiation); 3d. His final birth into the world of spirit — at death. Though it may seem strange that we should have to go to the old land of the Punjâb and the banks of the sacred Garges, for an interpreter of words spoken in Jerusalem and expounded on the banks of the Jordan, the fact is evident. This second birth, or regeneration of spirit, after the natural birth of that which is born of the flesh, might have astonished a Jewish ruler. Nevertheless, it had been taught 3,000 years before the appearance of the great Galilean prophet, not only in old India but to all the epoptæ of the Pagan initiation, who were instructed in the great mysteries of LIFE and DEATH. This secret of secrets, that soul is not knit to flesh, was practically demonstrated in the instance of the Yogis, the followers of Kapila. Having emancipated their souls from the fetters of Prakriti, or Mahat (the physical perception of the senses and mind — in one sense, creation), they so developed their soul-power and will-force, as to have actually enabled themselves, while on earth, to communicate with the supernal worlds, and perform what is bunglingly termed “miracles.”

For those who know of Jesus they must accept his sacrifice upon the cross for their forgiveness of sins.
Some people do not know of this however and have not been told about Jesus. Those God shall judge with righteousness and fairness. For such as these he shall judge them by how they live their lives and if the way in which they lived was pleasing to God. God bless.

Yes. See John 3:3--"unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." These words were spoken by Jesus.

Of course it's true. Jesus said it. He rose from the dead, alive, to prove that He knew what He was talking about. Who cares what others say? That's only what they wish were true.

Its true. If we had to depend on ourselves to be "good enough" to get into heaven, or "work hard enough" to get into heaven, no one would get there. Grace alone is the answer.
