I already tried to talk to my parents

I was told the same thing one time.
So I didn't listen to them and I stayed up late. In the morning, I was so tired and wanting another hour or two to rest. During school, I was falling asleep during morning announcements and after I finished my work and at lunch. When I wasn't asleep, I was weak and could hardly concentrate on what I was doing. I got massive headaches and my grades slipped.
All of that crud happened (no joke or exaggeration) just for not going to bed early!

You will feel so much more alert and healthy and it will really pay off!! It takes weeks and sometimes months for a person to catch up on sleep-that's what doctors say, you know. So listen to your parents and the people on here (including me) who tell you that rest is VERY important and you NEED it.

Sleep is good. Trust me you should really go to bed early (unless you have sleeping issues like me... which is a whole different story). However if you really really feel like its unfair for you to have to go to bed that early, then talk to your parents. Tell them you think it's unfair, tell them when your friends go to bed etc.... And if they don't listen, do what I did. Get a flashlight and stay awake until you are tired.

Yep - go to bed; get a lot of sleep; do really well in school; become a contributing member of your household and you will not believe how quickly your parents start listening to you and extending your privileges.

Early to bed, early to rise... makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise.
They're your parents... they know what is good for you... they'll always lead you to good.
