whenever a swallow my saliva my throat and ears are in a lot of pain, i dont have fever so i dont think its strep but i wanted to know what medicine or something else that can relieve this fast. I would see a doctor but i have no time, and im going on vacation in a few days (i.e. taking a plane) so nething that would be helpfull...

take antibiotics like amoxicillin and guaifenesin

your ears and throat are connected by the Eustachian tube which hold fluid and will cause earaches. You could have had an ear infection that spread to your throat and also infected that area. Also you don't necessarily need a fever to have strep it could just be the beginning.
You should DEFIANTLY call a doctor and get on some antibiotics before getting on a plane. The trip will make whatever it is worse indefinitely and ruin your trip and could also infect others on the plane.

If your sore throat is caused by a viral or bacterial infection, it could spread to your ear. You need to get examine by a doctor just in case it is an infection. A swab of the secretions of the throat and maybe a blood sample could determine the exact cause.
