not even close, and you can't be serious! Non-muslims have no freedom at all in islamic societies, and at best they are ONLY required to pay a tax.

I really can't say, except that while in the States I covered, here in Saudi Arabia I don't. When I go out I just play it smart and avoid the places where I am going to be harassed; namesly the shopping malls, you usually get those religious guys there who go around telling women to cover, and I just don't want to be bothered.
So I would say that freedom could only be a frame of mind.
No matter where we live we must obey the laws of so said country.
Also it must be considered when a Muslim family comes to the States, he often changes his attire and won't allow her to.
So as I said before it is hard to say.

The short answer is it depends. Dont go saying our father in Saudi Arabia in public, and you should not say Allah w Akbar in Vatican City. Between these two there is many many countries on both sides of the equation that allow legally and socially certain freedom, you could compare a Christian in Dubai having the same freedoms as they would a Muslim in Dallas Tx.
If you are a true Christian, and I don't mean that in a "born again" sense, I mean it in a Christian of any domination that truly understand the religion, you should know that Jesus said that when you pray, you should lock your self up in a room with no one watching and pray one on one, practicing faith is not a show, not according to Jesus anyway. Similarly in Islam, when you pray, you are to retreat, cleans yourself both (physically) and your mind (spiritually) and once you are cleansed you are to submit to God in worship.
The amazing thing is that within both religions (and add Judaisms) the many sects left, center and right leaning fail to understand or at least explain to their followers that those three religions worship the same God.
Yes Folks God (Jesus), Allah, Jehovah, are all the same exact dude.

What Christian land? Certainly not western democracies, as they are all secular (including the USA).
The only true Christian land I'm aware of is the Vatican, and Muslims probably aren't allowed to build mosques there.

A Muslim living in a 'Christian' land obviously.
You know our soldiers cannot drink alcohol or have pornography while they are stationed in Iraq and Afganistan?
When I learned that, I TOTALLY had a new-found respect for our soldiers over there.

under an Islamic state , a christian has more religious freedom living in a Muslim land because they are allowed to apply their law(banning homosexaulity, abortion etc.)
In a so-called "christian-land" (western nations assumedly), christians are not allowed to apply any laws of the bible and are forced to accept the legisltation of 'the people.'

Muslim in a Christian land.
In many countries ruled by Sharia law, if a person is caught with a Bible, they are put to death. If a person is caught trying to preach the Gospel, they are put to death.

The latter.
The problem is that the Moslem actively believes that the Christian shouldn't have any such "freedom."
