Don't worry, you will have them banging on the door before you no it. What is the rush anyways. Your only 14. You should wait till at least 16 before you start dating.

No, you're not abnormal or weird. I'm over the age of 14 and i've never had a boyfriend.
I'm sure you'll get a boyfriend, soon or later. Possibly soon. Just keep your options opened and let the boy come to you. I think it's better to have a boyfriend at a later age because teen years are better to be focused at education, more than having a boyfriend, especially if it's your first. I too, have many friends who have already had boyfriends, even friends who are younger than me have already had boyfriends. But, what they all had in common was becoming completely obsessive over their 1st boyfriends.
All i want to say is that it's better to wait because then you'll be able to meet a really nice, cute guy and if you're an adult then you can get into a serious relationship with him and be able have a great relationship as well.
well... good luck!
oh, and the boyfriends that your friends had in elementary school were probably not "boyfriends" as you might consider it as. But, it's upto them to call it whatever they want to call it as. So, i'm guessing that if they had boyfriends, then it just wasn't a serious one.

You are neither abnormal or weird, b/c it is normal for some people not to have boyfriends in the middle school. For example: I am currently at the age of 17 and I did not have a boyfriend at the age of 14 either. Now, I am in the 11th grade and I boyfriend. Even if you live in a small town you can still have a boyfriend. My boyfriend and I have known each other since the 6th grade.

Well every one has someone out there it just depends on when and where your going to meet them. Just because you live in a small town doesnt meant anything, you could always go on a vacation or feild trip or something and meet them. Or it may not be untill you get older. Trust me just wait and they will come if you look for boyfriends you will only find loosers. My husband came to me, and we are from differant parts of the state. And about the elementary school b/f g/f thing, those arent relationships they are more like friendships. But good luck sweety :)

You are abnormal or weird if you think that this reason can make you so. Sweetie you are FINE !! Everyone can get a bf/gf just for the sakeof getting one. Sometimes people are sensitive about their preferences and are not that willing to just try try try and find out. Others go the other way...of trying it out and seeing what suits them.

You are very much normal and yes small town does move slow for relationship. btw those elementary school relations are fun not serious relationships..depends on what r u really looking for!

Oh my god. Come on now. You're not even legal yet and you're worried about having someone to hold you down? Don't even worry about it. If you're a good person, you'll find a good person. It's not that you're young, it's that you aren't appreciating that. You don't want someone to hold you back from the things that you want to do. You'll find a great person and if you play your cards right (by not playing at all), everything will be great.

And why would you think that you won't get a boyfriend in highschool, or that not dating now isn't normal?? I mean, haven't you heard of those parents who don't let their kids EVER date until they turn 18? Or even 16, which is a good age. Come on now, don't try to grow up too fast.

And you'll probably give me a bad rating because of this, but you need to hear the truth. If you're mature enough to listen to the truth without it making you mad, then maybe you ARE mature enough to have a relationship.

No, and who cares, really, what other people did or are doing? I know it seems now like everyone else is doing something different than you are. But no one needs a boyfriend until she (or he) is ready for one. And you're right, elementary school boyfriends and girlfriends are just playing around with the whole idea. I would guess in the next year or two you will be more comfortable with the idea and you will start dating and see what you like. Don't worry about it. You have years to date and try boys on for size!

You're not weird. Bf/Gf relationships in elementary school, are not really relationships. They're just cute, childhood crushes.
I'm from a small town too. I didn't actually start dating until about 9th grade. Even in high school, I was only in about 3 relationships.
I know people who didn't even do that, and they turned out just fine.
Don't worry too much. If you obsess about it, it will tend to make people think you're different.
Do make friends though, & socialize with girls and boys. Have friends of both sexes.
Some of the best relationships, actually start off as friendships first.

Best of luck to you. ;)

1 - That's pretty normal
2 - You'll probably find someone
3 - So It's a small town? So what?
4 - There is no such thing as a boyfriend/girlfriend in elementary school, those people were not in love
5 - Dont rush to find someone if you dont care for the person

Nope. I'm 19 and still never had a girlfriend. Relationships don't mean anything during elementary school or middle school. Even high school relationships are a joke. Real dating comes later in life when you're in your 20s. You're not abnormal at all.

If everybody in your town has a boyfriend/girlfriend except you, then it's not really about the town, is it?

It's about how you fit in.

Well, not fitting in well in a small group is often a GOOD thing.

In four years you'll go to college, and have a much bigger and more diverse pool of people to relate to. The one thing you really should make a point of in high school is to have male FRIENDS, so that you're not vulnerable later on to thinking you're madly in love with the first male in your age range you eventually do have good/intimate communication with.
