Savannah is a sizable metro area but a very small downtown area that's perfect for walking. Beautiful riverfront shops hundreds of years old, great old mansions, and yes some of them are haunted. Take one of the many ghost tours to get all of the folklore and stories. Be sure to hit Bonaventure cemetery as well.
