Using Version 6.5 with a PC and Windows XP Pro., I cannot find the Page Layout as shown in David Blatner's Book.
Also only the first half of the Measurements Palette is visible.
And the cursor does not blink.
Any ideas please?

So Kevin K, wants you trash $800 in software becuase you are having a problem......, nice answer, Im sure that helped alot.
Anyway, try trashing your preferences.
Or you might have to re-install Qv6.5.
I still prefer Quark over InDesign.
InDesign has too many problems dealing with transparancies/drop shadows, and the RIPS in the printing industry.
But then again, designers dont care, they just make things look pretty.
Pre-press, we make all those pretty things work!

I can't answer your question but I think you should seriously consider using adobe indesign. After the switch, I was able to do more in less time
