We`ve been going out for one week tommorow, and he hasn`t told any of his friends about us. But I only told two of my friends about this because he said he didn`t want the whole school knowing, but honestly, I don`t really mind if people know. I mean he`s my first boyfriend and all, so I don`t think that there`s a problem telling people. Is he embasassed to be seem with me or something? I mean, we`ve been close friends for a while. Why doesn`t he want people knowing? Oh, and also, he has told me he loves me, but I don`t want to say it back because I don`t know if I love him or not, I don`t even know what it feels like to be in love. Is it wrong for me to say I love you back, but not be sure if I mean it or not? Please help me!

Also, he`s the one who asked me out! I didn`t ask him. There was a rumor going around school that we were going out, and when I got home he instant messaged me and asked me if I wanted the rumor to actually happen, and I`ve liked him for like...a month? I`m so confused...

It's only been a week, so don't rush things. It's okay if he hasn't announced it to anybody yet... you're still young and on your first relationship, so you're both still working out what that means to you. Besides, once you tell somebody, they will ask all sorts of embarassing questions that you may not be ready to answer yet, so he probably just wants to avoid that stress until he gets used to the idea of having a girlfriend. I wouldn't be concerned unless he starts outright denying it and lying about it. Give him a few months to get used to the situation - word will get out soon enough.
Definitely DON'T say "I love you" if you aren't 100% sure you mean it. It will only hurt his feelings later. Just tell him you don't know how you feel yet, but you know you like him a lot, and with time, you think it will become something more.

one week's kind of fast to make that decision; i wouldn't go saying i loved someone if i really didn't (unless they're an obnoxious family member).
Personally, i would not consider someone i was dating for one week my girlfriend, unless there was a serious connection. I wouldn't even be necessarily dating exclusively in one week; i'd wait until i was sure i liked the person. (But that's just me ranting; this paragraph is not advice.)
Maybe he is waiting to make sure things will work out. I mean, imagine if you told everyone you had a boyfriend and you break up the next weekend or something.

Be VERY careful.
Boy will tell you anything and everything to get into your pants.
But this to soon to really know if he loves you or not.
As far as telling anyone. Why should there be a problem telling anyone unless he is playing the field.
Yos we boys love to nail as many girls as we could without even thinking about the damage that we might cause.
I am telling you this as a 39 year old man that has had my share of fun. Be very careful with boys.........

Men are funny. He might not be telling his friends just yet because he wants to see how compatible you are together-if your not he's going to get a lot of flack from his friends. No offense towards you, but try not to be a psycho and play it cool. He'll end up bragging about what a cool GF you are eventually.

Nver tell a person you love them(in a romantic way) UNLESS you mean it.If you decide after telling him you love him that you dont it really makes a mess.Also it could be he is seeing someone esle and doesnt want to be caught is why he doesnt wnat you telling everyone, or he doesnt want his friends to tease him about it.Ask him.

Sounds like he's embarassed by you or he wouldn't care who knew. You can do better, find someone who don't care who knows and never say I love you in less you mean it.

Yeah I would be mad if he didn't want his friends to know because it like he is embarassed to be your bf he should care who knows so I say break up with him he is no good
