try microwaving or heating at a slow heat and next time look to using some fruit pectin and that might help.

You might try adding a simple syrup to it if the others do not work. or make fruit empanadas and use it up!

Hi
I think a very important ingredient that you have to use in Jellies is Pectin: Thhttp://www.lsbu.ac.uk/water/hypec.htmlis may help

The Pectin has to do with the consistency of the jelly

Add 4 tablespoons of hot water and pour it over the guava jelly, let it sit for two hours.

Then throw all of it away, because after all, it's still just Guava jelly.

You could let the jelly dry out and then grind it up into a powder, mix with water and make a paste...and then throw it way. because after all, it is still just Guava Paste.

Try microwaving it or heating it in the oven and then it will be smooth and warm again to spread on bread!! I have had something like that happen before!
