Killing is bad. Unless it's not.

The bible actually says thou shalt not murder. Methodists, like most other christian cults, accept the idea of justifiable killing. The most obvious form of this is warfare. Methodism does not require you to be a conscientious objector. On the other hand, killing the annoying old lady down the block is still frowned upon by your religion.

Well whether your a Methodist or not... killing someone is still a sin. It all applies to everyone, you will not go to hell if you believes in Christ as your personal saviour. And do thing according to things that pleases Him.

Killing is unlawful in peace times. This law of the land applies to everyone, regardless of religious beliefs. Whether the killer will go to jail or not is up to the legal system.

Upon his death, whether a he would go to hell or not is something between him and his god.

My opinion, my belief. I'm sure someone else would have a contrary view - no problem!

study John Wesley's options of Christian Perfectionism and 2d Grace and then do not ignore that that's all crap; self-righteous stupidity. there is not any way a Christian can make himself more beneficial useful for God except to have self assurance Him like Jesus informed us to do. attempt to rationalize some thing else with some style of formula, and also you basically did a similar issue John Wesley did, take a crap and feed it to the church as actuality!

You shouldn't kill anyone no matter what religion you are. But if you are in the military and at war, it's not good but I don' think it qualifies as "murder" ....or if you kill someone in self defense, or even by accident.

First-degree murder...where you kill someone because you are trying to get revenge, or you hate them, or you just have no regard for human life...then you'd be in serious eternal danger.

God couldn't care less whether you were a Methodist or a ventriloquist; all He cares about is whether you obey His Word.
"Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him."
(I John 3:15)

Jesus said that we should "love thy neighbor as thyself" and most importantly, "thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart." If somehow you can justify killing someone and it still complies with these commandments, then I guess it is justified. In reality, there are not many justifications, but there are a few, such as self defense.

If you were a Christian you wouldn't even be asking such a terrible question.
