I used to = (yo) solía or acostumbraba

ride horses = montar a caballo

Yo mantaba cablallos.

Mantar means to ride. in the imperfect it becomes mantaba meaning I used to ride.

caballos is horses.

Ride horses= "Montar a caballo".
