Mormons have their own prophet and they have altered some of the text of the Bible to give certain verses or passages meanings not meant by God who made it very clear that not one "jot or tittle" is to be altered in the Bible. They also practice things that are unscriptural.
Muslims follow the prophet Mohammed who existed hundreds of years after Jesus. Many of the things Mohammed taught merely twisted what was in the Bible favoring the Hebrew people in order to put the Arab race as God's chosen. The name of their god, Allah, is a shorter version of the name of the moon god they worshiped before Mohammed came along.
Catholics and Protestants are both Christian religions. Protestants, however believe in the literal word of God and are typically conservative. The Catholic church while being more liberal is at the same time very legalistic which Christ taught against. Other things that differentiate them from protestants is that they pray to Mary, Jesus' mother and to other manmade "saints" even though the Bible forbids it. They also have the practice of "Confession" to a priest who then absolves them of their sins, even though he's just a man and has no more power to absolve sin than anyone else but God. The Bible states clearly that, "There is one God and one mediator who is Christ Jesus." Many of their rituals are leftovers of pagan rituals that were practiced up until the time the Roman Emperor Constantine converted to Christianity and turned the pagan temples into churches. There are many things that they practice that are spelled out clearly in the Bible as wrong. How they anser to that, I don't know. One other thing is they have what they consider to be the next thing to Christ on Earth, the Pope, whom they worship. Theirs is a more temporal or physical practice of some of the tenants of Christianity while Christians live by faith in what cannot be seen - a supernatural approach which IS Biblical. The Bible says that, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things unseen." But that would require another very long explanation.
What do they all have in common? They are all religions and that's it. The Bible says there's only one right one. Such is the power of belief that whatever one chooses to believe, they'd better KNOW that it's the RIGHT belief for the consequences will be dire and eternal.
Hope that answers your question.

Muslims, Jews, Catholics, and other Christians share a belief in the one true God of Abraham.
The Catholic Church teaches:
+ About Judaism: "The Jewish faith, unlike other non-Christian religions, is already a response to God's revelation in the Old Covenant. To the Jews "belong the sonship, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises; to them belong the patriarchs, and of their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ"; "for the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable.
+ About Islam: The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day.
+ About other non-Christian religions: All nations form but one community. This is so because all stem from the one stock which God created to people the entire earth, and also because all share a common destiny, namely God. His providence, evident goodness, and saving designs extend to all against the day when the elect are gathered together in the holy city.
With love in Christ.

Hmm.
Morman and muslim are followers of a created/invented/false religion.
Catholic is a subset of Christian.
I guess I don't really see what's "common" to the four.
