He was asked for his personal opinion. He gave it!

General Pace,
I have to send you a word of encouragement that you might be able to stand firm in your convictions regarding homosexuality, particularly as it relates to our men and women in uniform.
Thank you! I am certain there are now people who seek to end your career after hearing of your bold stance. Thank you for being as courageous as any soldier in any battle to stand up and proclaim homosexuality for what it is, "immoral!"
May God guide you in this matter fully, holding you firm in your convictions. And as for the rest of us who believe in your proclamation, we will hold you up in our prayers.
Take courage and do not waiver your claim and I believe fully that the Lord God Almighty will reward your great sacrifice.
God bless you and keep you and your family in this time of great struggle.
Sincerely,

I believe this was a courageous proclamation to have made knowing full well the opposition he would most likely have to face. He is a true soldier in every sense of the word so far as I am concerned. I wish him well.
Now, I wonder what other's opinions are. Isn't it nice that we can all have a personal opinion in this great nation?

I respect him greatly!
A person may not agree with his personal opinion, but you have to have great respect for a man that isn't afraid to voice his opinion knowing full well it will result in a backlash.
General Pace has fought and served in several wars. HE HAS MORE THAN EARNED HIS FREEDOM TO EXPRESS HIS PERSONAL OPINION.

NIUAD: God did not create these things you have listed. Sin entered in and through the progressive decay of man, these things have surfaced. These things are a consequence to the sin(s) in our lives. God has made provision for escape through His Son, Jesus Christ, but this is not what this question was about. If you would like to chat about this, you may message me.

The vast, vast majority of people in the world would agree with General Pace about homosexuality; I know I do, and I admire his courage. Homosexual behavior (giving in to the inclination) is inherently immoral. By the way, there is no politically neutral research to suggest that homosexuality is biologically predetermined. The mere fact that the incidence of homosexuality among identical twin males is well under 50% should give the lie to that assertion.
To jw below:
Jesus said to the women caught in adultery, “Go, and sin no more.” A “gay” who repents as Jesus commanded obviously gets his mercy. The homosexuals in question do not want to repent their sin or even admit there’s anything wrong with homosexual acts; get the difference, or is it too obvious?

I suppose there's a certain amount of courage involved, but I wonder that we even know what you're talking about. He was asked about his personal convictions, he answered a mainstream religious answer, and that's it, or should be. Since when do we require people to have no moral or religious convictions? Where are his first-amendment rights? As long as his beliefs don't translate into action that is against policy, this is a non-event. I am solidly against anybody who denies him his rights, and I don't care what their sexual orientation or other personality traits might be.

He gave his personal opinion, to which he is entitled.
He has also said he regrets saying it.
And I would love to know how an adulteress who violated the ten commandments gets the protection, mercy and love and Jesus and a gay does not.
You may email that if you care.

It grew to become into especially brave to cammnd troops to run WWI veterans out of Wash. DC who have been there to protest to get their promised bonus. He have been given his Medal of Honor for political motives, no longer valor. George Marshall desperate that MacArthur may be provided the Medal of Honor, a ornament for which he had two times before been nominated, "to offset any propaganda by making use of the enemy directed at his leaving his command". Eisenhower observed that MacArthur had no longer somewhat accomplished any acts of valor as required by making use of regulation, yet Marshall noted the 1927 award of the medal to Charles Lindbergh as a precedent. His command grew to become into questionable and he grew to become into in straight forward terms there because of the fact his father were a regular. His judgements in Korea have been risky to the attempt.

I agree. He was asked for his opinion and he gave it.
When did it become unacceptable to answer a question truthfully. I have been continuously asaulted with the other side's opinions, but as soon as someone says something that doesn't agree the whole "homosexual" cause, that person needs to apologize or step down from their position.

Pace is correct - period. The previous answerer (with only a 5% best answer rate) proclaims that men trained to kill are immoral. Were it not for these men and women he would not be able to express such a view or if he did he would simply disappear.

I have a few questions for you.
Did god create conjoined twins?
Did god create children with spina bifida?
Did god create children with hydrocephalus?
Did god create whites, blacks, Asians, and Hispanics?
We may "prefer" not to have to live with biological differences, but god created the world warts and all. God created you. God created gay people. Perhaps he is testing your to see how compassionate and "moral" you are.
