this is stupid but just curious.. my ex was #1on my myspace. then i moved him to #5 cus he moved me to #5.. then he left me a comment saying "oh i'm #5 now? i can deal with that" does that mean he doesn't care or what?

It means that you are reading too much in to it and you care far too much about your ex's goings by being worried about what number he's placed you on myspace or vice versa.
