I'm going to make spam musubi but i dont have rice vinegar for the rice

Yes, but I would use apple cider vinegar if you have it or even red wine vinegar.

I say this as the other is mostly good for cleaning windows and copper. Unless it is a true white wine vinegar. So, use a little less than your recipe calls for as it is more pronounced than rice wine vinegar.

Goodness, no.

Rice vinegar has a special flavor. You don't have some, so you can't try it, but try taking a lick of your regular white vinegar and then imagine your dinner tasting like that.

If you can't sprinkle rice vinegar on, don't sprinkle anything (unless you have sake or mirin or some other rice-derived liquid).
