but they only had 2 sons(cain and able) and humans and chimps share like 90 something percent of the same genes with each other, does that mean cain and able had sex with female chimps??????

There were NO bibles then and no ten commandments THEN but it does say that Adam and Eve had other sons and daughters. I'm quite sure though that given the chance they also had sex with eachother male-male and female-female. Like I said there was no Levitical LAW then. Also the majority of reproduction was through intense in-breeding like it or not in those days. Which gave validity to "Be fruitful and multiply".
Makes you wonder eh?
Oh and while you're on the subject of chimps...i doubt if there were any chimps there..or were there? Im sure they were the first ones who started doing it with sheep if anything..or maybe chimps were convenient too :)
remeber there were NO laws against this then either...morality is a blitch these modern days.

The idea of "in-breeding" sounds gross in today's world. Laws on the books today about it are concerned with the genetic damage that can occur to the offspring. This was a concern after many generations of human beings. God told people to not inbreed in Leviticus chapter 18. This was after the world population was in the millions. Back in Eden, relations were with relatives initially. People lived for hundreds of years, and God told them to be fruitful and multiply. Adam and Eve had many children, not just Seth, Cain, and Abel. They in turn had many children, and so on. The Jewish historian Josephus wrote, "The number of Adam's children, as says the old tradition, was 33 sons, and 23 daughters." Adam lived to the age of 930. The genetic breakdown wasn't a concern then because Adam was made perfect in the image of God.

First off, Adam and Eve had more than 2 sons. Second, humans and chimps aren't the same. If a human and a chimp mated, the offspring would be fertile because if 2 different species mate and produce offspring (which is not likely) the offspring can't reproduce. Third, scienctist believe in evolution but no one says that humans evolved FROM chimps they say that we evolved ALONG SIDE of chimps! That's why we are way more advanced then them.

Actually, Adam and Eve had more than two sons. They also had a few daughters, they are just not as well known as Cain and Able. And other than that, many people, including Christians, don't actually believe the story of Adam and Eve as fact, as much as symbolism.
And actually, we share 99% of our genes with gorillas.

Um... you seem slightly confused. >.< lol j/k
The thing is, Adam and Eve didn't just have two sons! You here about Cain and Able but they also had Seth and many many other children. If you look in the geneologies you will see other sons, but you have to remember that the Bible doesn't list every child people had. That is why you don't see daughters for Adam and Eve. Yes, yes. They did eventually marry their sisters' but, what's a guy to do?

Adam and Eve had more children- Seth was the 3rd one and then the bible says they had more. Plus incest was not considered wrong until the earth was replenished. Chimps have some of the same genes because they have the same creator.

I had that same question and I read Genesis very carefully and I read somewhere that there where other beings there, that apparently were for Cain and Able. Otherwise they would have to have waited for their sisters to grow up before they could have sex. Another drawback would be that we would all be retarded.

If you think you came from a "Chimp." That's fine. Kudos to you. I remember white folks used to call black folk "Monkey." And in the past, they would actually try to compare. They were wrong then on that account, and they are wrong again on evolution. But you stay blind and live a lie. Heck you even seem comfortable living it.

They also had Seth, and the Bible says that Adam and Eve had sons and daughters...brothers married sisters, but it was permissible back then.
