I know around here there are.. metropolitan community churches.. that are openly gay friendly.. compared to the wonderful examples of christian love above my reply.. I know some episcopal churches are.. as stated by other poster.. it depends a lot on the church.. and the community within it.

First of all, I'm not a christian, but I do know a little something about this subject ...
There are no branches of christianity that are specifically gay. There are, however, several churches in the United States right now that don't have a problem with gay members. I think it depends more on the stance of the church then on the stance of the denomination. However, I'd check into unitarian or non-denominational churches first. Independent churches that aren't part of a "convention" might also accept gay members. There are plenty of southern baptist churches that pulled out of the southern baptist association because the association ruled that churches shouldn't allow homosexual men and women to become members.
However, I can't understand why a gay person would want to be part of a religion that, generally speaking, thinks so poorly of them. It can't be good for your self-esteem, or for your spirituality period.
