General Pace does not have to live with gays. The important consideration is how members of the MILITARY who live and work with gays feel!

No apology from Gen. Pace for gay remark
March 13, 2007
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Pentagon's top general said Tuesday he should not have voiced his personal view that homosexuality is immoral and should have just stated his support for the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy in an interview that has drawn criticism from lawmakers and gay-rights groups. The written statement by Marine Gen. Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, did not apologize for his stance on homosexuality. In a newspaper interview Monday, Pace likened homosexual acts to adultery and said the military should not condone it by allowing gays to serve openly in the armed forces.

humm. Gen. Pace "likens homosexual acts to adultery.?" This begs the question as to what "adultery" is. (and no I am not a homosexual. This is a serious question)

I don't care who you do, so long as you do your job and don't act like a retard.

while men in general in the military despise gay men, we dont mind the rug munchers as long as they are appealing to the eye, however there are a lot of lesbian women in the service, I have seen it all in the 14 years that i have served, and homosexuality is against the UCMJ, which means that a **** serving is breaking the code of military justice and undermining what others believe to be morally wrong, so if homos can get away with breaking the law, other soldiers should be able to break the law too, like try missing a formation one time, you will be punished under UCMJ.
The only thing about being a **** in the military is that it is hard to prove, basically you must be caught performing acts of sodomy in order to be prosecuted for it.

I knew a number of gay and lesbian troops when I was in. They did their job - I did mine. What they did on their own time was their business. Sex of any kind during duty hours has always been against regulations. We have lost too many good men and women. Especially translators (which we are in desperate need of) over this nonsense. Anyone who ever hit on me in a bar or off post I just said "No thinks. I'm straight" I never had any problems at all.

When I was in the Army in 68 there was a guy in our room that I think was gay. He didn't bother me and I didn't bother him. He did his job and I did mine. We spoke on occasion but since we worked different shifts we really rarely saw each other anyway. Whatever, he seemed okay and did his job as I did mine. I think way too much is being made of this.

I was in the service from 80 to 89. I never gave a crap about anyone's sexuality. As long as you did your job properly and didn't act like a douchebag, you were ok by me.

How do members of the military feel about having to live with red heads?
How do members of the military feel about having to live with Italians?
It doesn't matter. This is just a lot of smoke in an attempt to cover the real issues; losing the war, poor veteran follow up, millions of missing and wasted dollars,...
Let the government and the media know they are not fooling anyone with smoke and mirrors.
