What do you think is going to run through your mind when you realize that you are going to hell, to burn forever, in all-encompassing agony? What would your first thought be? Serious answers please, anything sarcastic will be ignored. To further explain my question, I'm not trying to be rude in any way, simply curious. Everyone is free to believe what they choose and I respect that. That is why I said 'theorize' and so far, no one has actually done that. Seriously, 'suppose' it's true and you are going to spend eternity in perpetual pain because you rejected the One who made you. Honest answers please, I'm just curious and not trying to offend anyone

Well, I suppose I am going to be biased in this question, but I have to answer. I am Christian now, but going to back to the time I wasn't, and didn't believe the Bible, Christ and so on. If I had died during that time in my life, my convictions so firm that none of it was true, and then found out that it was true, and I had denied the Creator, who loved me and only wanted me with Him and all I had to do was accept Him, I think I would have been so ashamed. Shameful agony. There aren't enough words to describe the pain I would feel knowing that I had lived my life believing a lie for my own selfish reasons and refused the only one who loved me completely. I can't imagine the anguish I would feel knowing I would never get to see the light, but would spend eternity in darkness and pain. When I did realize that I had been living a lie, I did feel horrible sorrow knowing that I had done nothing in my life for Him. I imagine it would be something like that magnified a thousand times over.

This question is really horrible and ridiculous.I do not know why people are so sick to think all the time of hell and eternal burning!!Don't you have anything else to think of? The beautiful world outside which is being destroyed every day by men. The innocent being killed, or 2% of the world population enjoying 50% of the worlds riches and 5o% of the population going to bed with empty stomach, farmers suicide, rape and religious wars, worship of satan or worship if imaginary gods and goddesses and what not!!!!

Such theorizing is totally pointless. This is Pascal's Wager, yet again, and it makes as much sense as to suppose that god will send the believers to hell because they got it wrong, while those who doubt the existence of such a thing will receive paradise because they used their brains.

OK for a moment I theorize it's all true. The only conclusion I could possibly come to is that god is sadistic kid with a magnifying glass and we're the ants. Why else would a supreme being, who states his love for us, only acknowledge and reward this love if we worship him/her/it? Doesn't sound like love to me, sounds more like extortion.

"Anything sarcastic will be ignored."

How ironic, considering that your entire question is asked in a sarcastic, insulting tone. Just one more prime example of good, old-fashioned christian hypocrisy.

And, for the record, my first thought would be ... "Oh, look ... there's Angels ... bet it shocked the crap outta her when she got put on the 'going down' elevator for being a judgmental hypocrite!"

What a terrible being god truly is. I was a good person and led a good life. What a crazy and loving being would truly bring this horrible fate upon, the people I care about.

I would think that God is the most evil entity in the universe. I am serious. What kind of father would do that? I am not being sarcastic.

This is among the rudest, most socially crude kinds of questions to ask. You're doomed to work menial jobs until you can develop greater social skills and embrace the grace to get along in society.

meaningless because you have to rely on a hypothetical, yes I would be upset if hell and heaven existed, but I would also be equally upset if I found out the flying spaghetti monster was "god" or god was darth vader etc.

Nothing will run through my mind because it doesn't exist, and you have no right to condemn me. I understand your beliefs, and I respect them. Can't you respect mine?

If your bible is, in fact, correct, didn't Jesus die for EVERYONE, and not just some? Doesn't it say that only God can judge?
