Why are fighting this war? Mainly because it's better to fight terrorism "over there" than "over here."
Why are we sending aid to other countries? A couple of reasons, really. First, it's a bribe. If they keep on our good side, they keep getting the $$$'s. Second, aid stabilizes countries. If the people of country X are fed, healthy, and have jobs, they're less likely to cause problems for themselves, their neighbors, and (ultimately) us.

The Iraqi war is not ours to fight. You cannot have a "war on terror", for terror is an emotion. Guns, wars and the constant clash of man-against-man cannot stop a thought from spreading like an epidemic.
However, I think the US need to send MORE aide to other countries. There are people less fortunate than us;children who don't even have enough food to keep them alive. If we don't help them, the who will?

I agree with the guy a few answers up......We are fighting terrorists. So what if there is less money for those people with their hands out. Sorry, get a job! There are plenty of jobs in America, why do you think those immigrants sneak over?!? If you don't believe in the terrorism go and look at www.obsessionthemovie.com It's a documentary about the truth!!!! It's an amazing eye opener!

Who is the "we" you are referring to, it's obviously not you and as far as sending aid to other countries, you don't have much, if any, compassion for the suffering people of third world countries.
