No, no, no. You should not gargle with anything. The clots, then scabs, need to form so you don't start bleeding heavily, which would be a medical emergency. Follow your surgeons instructions exactly to avoid any major problems.

Listerine is too harsh. You should have received post operative instructions like gargling with a saline solution. Call the doctor's office and they'll tell you exactly what they want you to do and it won't cost a thing for the instruction. Hope that you feel better.

When i got mine out i could barly eat soup, if you can gargle, sure why not.

I don't think I would it might burn real bad. That's unless a doctor told me to then I might. Hope you feel better soon!
