here's an oldy but goody from me....
Why is it that the universe, our galaxy, our Solar System and the Earth-Moon double planet system demonstrate some remarkable evidence of intelligent design. Taken separately, each characteristic is highly improbable by random chance. When taken together, the probability is so small as to be impossible - by random chance. The alternative explanation, design by an intelligent Creator is a more realistic explanation. Either way, one must admit that we are a product of a miracle - either a miracle of chance or a miracle of design. Don't get me started on our galaxy - co-rotation radius.

And what about the moon, the moon has had other beneficial affects on the earth. Scientists now know that the earth originally had a rotational period of eight hours. Such a rapid rotational period would have resulted in surface wind velocities in excess of 500 miles per hour. The gravitational tug of the moon over the last 4+ billion years has reduced the rotation period of the earth to 24 hours (likewise, the gravitational attraction of the earth on the moon has reduced its rotational period to 29 days). Winds of 500 miles per hour would not be conducive to the existence of higher life forms.

Watch it.... your question and approach is too difficult for the atheistic population to absorb due to their small minds. This will only frustrate and agitate them.
Warning: You will receive major insults and mockery

"Product of a miracle"? No. A miracle would be when telemarketers didn't exist and the environment wasn't suffering.
So, what about all those other galaxies out there? Were they created so we could ask questions and make telescopes? And I suppose that gravity has NOTHING to do with it. Oh, wait, I forgot that gravity is an act of how much this world sucks because of hunger, starvation, AIDS, and other crap. And if god is real, than how come people are starving before this benevolent being? People like you piss me off. You think your way is right, and the rest of us are going to Hell. (Which is the name of a small town in Ohio, by the way.) Oh yes, I'd also like to know the exact chance of this being a random act. You HAVE calculated it, haven't you?

And yet scholarly astronomers and astrophysicists are among the most atheistic of scientists. Perhaps all the information you have presented is due to the anthropic principle.
After all, how many stars are there in the universe? At about 300 billion to the average galaxy and over a trillion galaxies, quite a few I'd say. If I were to play the Florida lottery that many times I'd be a winner over and over again.

The mathematical (and rational) probability that a god(s) had anything to do our planet, our solar system, or the entire universe is ZERO. Since you could not identify something intelligently designed your 'remarkable evidence' is pure wishful thinking based upon nothing.

What's so improbable? Are there not countless stars most with a system of planets? What makes it so improbable? Our Earth was hit by a huge comet and it spawned our moon, why is that improbable? Life is miraculous, but what makes you so sure that it is all improbable, if there was a creator, (s)he stepped out of the process long before we got to humans, if we were designed, our designer is retarded.

This is the so-called anthropomorphic argument, and is an example of a logic error called post hoc. There are a billion trillion stars in the universe, and it is hardly surprising that if conditions for life could be obtained somewhere, that it would indeed happen.

People have an inherent difficulty in conceiving of what the passage of billions of years does to probability. Improbable events become probable once you do the math.
But yes it is a "miracle" of some kind just not a designed one.

Actually most scientists agree that while the probability within a single planet for life is extremely low, you are forgetting about the other billions of stars out there.
you have to take that extremely low probability, and then give it billions of opportunities to play out, and the probability of not only our existence, but the existence of other life in the universe is extremely high.

The distance from the Earth to the Sun is one astronomical unit. Spooky.
The distance from the Earth to the Moon is identical to the distance from the Moon to the Earth. Coincidence? I think not.

i would guess that they feel that no matter how small the probabliity is that a planet could come to sustain life after several billion years of constant change, that it is still higher than an invisible man in the sky, simply saying
"i would like to have an earth now" and POOF...here we are.

an even more probable answer is the big bang theory...saying someone in outer space created a universe from nothing is less likely, by chance just like you said, then randomly.
why do people always post this kind of stuff asking atheists?
i think there should be a seperate group just for these kinds of questions.
