If you have oily skin, do not try to make it too dry. If you try to make your skin too dry, it will retaliate, and will produce even more oil. After you wash your face with a mild soap, use a moisturizer and you can blot your face with a tissue throughout the day to get rid of the excess oil. Moisturizing is essential even for oily skin. Just make sure you choose a moisturizer ideal for your skin type.

THE CONDITION IS A RESULT OF YOUR BEING SENSITIVE TO SOAP AND CLEANERS, SHAMPOOS(THEY COME IN CONTACT WITH SKIN) AND VARIOUS OTHER PRODUCTS CONTAINING CHEMICALS THAT de- nature the skin and remove skin's natural vital oils, and causes the excess oiliness. As soon as you stop using them and wash using the mildest of cleaners with no harsh chemicals condition face will naturally starte to heal. ALSO, I found it very beneficial and hastens healing by frequently massaging(quite vigorously) the face with a pure natural oil (surprisingly this is the treatment that works) Daily is best. I recommend olive, coconut, flax-seed oils. They absorb into skin. You can remove any surplus by applying water and using tissues. You will see noticeable results in about a week. You will find that you will do not need to use any other products - the skin will naturally moisturize. It hastens the healing and gives skin a vibrant healthy appearance. I found also that the massage rejuvenates the face. Try it - you will be glad that you did!

You could use blotting papers. They make them in little packets you can carry with you discreetly.
I have a daughter with oily skin and this is what she does throughout the day. She also cleans her face everynight before bed and then in the morning.
