I use a home grocery delivery company in our area and they are really the worst. Eggs come broken, I received juice that had expired a month ago (which I realized AFTER I drank some of it), and their produce is gross. Always gone bad after a day or two ... sometimes they arrive bad. We got onions and I checked them today & they're full of mold. The groceries came 5 days ago ... is that normal for onions or should they last a little longer? I'm sick of complaining to these people so I'm dropping their service but I'm gonna call them one last time. Thanks!

Onions should be stored in a cool place on an 'aerated' shelf or container. They should last for about 3 weeks if kept in this way. Ensure that they are not in a plastic bag as this makes them 'sweat' and consequently mold/mildew takes place very quickly.
Good luck! :)
