I would go for the fat and pretty. With some encouragement and help she can lose weight and become skinny and pretty. It is much harder the other way around. Unless of course you have a lot of money and do not mind a fake pretty then there is always plastic surgery.

If I were gay {which I ain't!}, the personality would have to count as well, don't ya think? But what about the atheltic/muscled girls? Can't they get a bit of love?
Anyway you would have to elaborate a little more! By ugly, you could mean she doesn't dress very good or has an ugly personality and by fat you could be mean she is fabulous and terrific. (Get the acronym?)
And I'd rather date the fun one in the end.

The outside looks of a person should not matter, the heart is what counts. You can not do any better than find a girl with a beautiful heart with a wonderful caring personality, regardless if she is fat, skinny, pretty or ugly. True love can see the person for themself, not what a peson looks like on the outside.

WOW... This is the ultimate philsophical question me and my friends ask each other when we are out. I always choose the fat pretty girl, because when people see you with the girl they will only first think that she's fat, then pretty. But if you're with a skinny ugly chick people will only notice the fact that she's ugly, which I do when I see ugly, skinny girls.
Then again, it will have to depend on how fat of a chick we are talking about... if she's only a bit chubby then it's okay. Morbidly obese, I will just rather become a monk or something.

Taking this question to a different level: Fat and handsome man or skinny ugly man? Well, I used to date the best looking until I found out the hard way that they were very shallow and self centered.
I met someone who taught me that beauty is what is inside. Yea.....your mothers and grandmothers were right. How a person acts, treats others, the way they live - I found to be more important in the long run and yes, I fell in love with this person who is about 50 pounds over weight, has a great personality, very family centered and fun to be with. And oh....he looks like one of the members from ZZ Top (scraggly beard).
Bottom Line, looks are not everything....but someone who makes you smile and feel good is.

if i was a guy, id go for the one with the best personallity.. but for the heck of it i'd say the pretty fat girl.. because most likely your idea of fat isn't really fat.. just kinda chubby.. and pretty always trumps skinny!

Ugly & skinny. why? You can put a bag over her head and make do with her bottom half.
